The project is devoted to the poems written by four women from the South of India living in XIV c. (Gaṅgādevi), XVI c. ( Tirumalāmbā) and XVII century (Rāmabhadrāmbā and Madhuravāṇī).

The assessment of the literary qualities of the works of the said authoresses is not the only objective of the project. Far more important would be to notice and describe historical and social context of the poems representing broadly understood Vijayanagara culture. The comparison with other works written at the same time will help to achieve this aim.
